Mission

We are a DeepTech company pioneering the cultivation and transformation of microalgae — Spirulina, Dunaliella salina, and beyond. By combining cutting-edge biology, engineering, and AI-driven research, we explore the untapped possibilities of these “micro-hulks” to nourish, heal, and decarbonize our world.

We believe microalgae will shape the bioeconomy of the future — powering nutrition, medicine, and climate resilience. We target:

• Nutrition & Health: Proteins, antioxidants, and natural compounds for sustainable nutrition and wellbeing.
• Cosmetics & Pharma: Bioactive ingredients for high-value formulations.
• Climate & Industry: CO₂ capture, bioplastics, and scalable low-carbon solutions.

The Team

We are scientists, engineers, and entrepreneurs with a shared mission: to transform microalgae into solutions that matter for people and the planet. Rooted in Morocco, with global reach, we operate at the intersection of biotechnology, sustainability, and innovation.

Meet our founders:

Gauthier Mourre is a graduate of Ecole Centrale Paris and Oxford University with a 5+ years experience in renewable project development, including 3+ years in Morocco heading the development of green H2 projects in NA region for TotalEnergies H2.

Karim Mourtada is a graduate of Edhec Business School, University Catholic of Lille and the Paris Bar Association with a 5+ years experience in Business Law and Financing Law, Including 3+ years in Morocco creating and developing a new law firm.

Amine Faiz is a graduate of National School of Business and Management and HEC Montréal, with 8+ years in sustainable economic development and policy design including leading international projects across Africa and the MENA region. +3 years experience in rare earth mining.

Ambition

Our ambition is to uncover the full potential of microalgae, going far beyond their current uses in food supplements and cosmetics. Through advanced R&D, powered by DeepTech, we design the next generation of algae-based solutions for global challenges.
